Activity report for the month of Jan´12
The Vivegam
Godfrey Day Care Centre for Children was reopened on 18th of January
2012 after Christmas & Thamizhar festival. The Vivegam Godfrey Day care
centre children are come at 07.00A.M. onwards and be in the centre till 09.00A.M.on
all school days. They spend one and half hours in singing, Bible Stories,
memorizing Bible verses, prayer and doing their school home works. After the Breakfast
they move to their Schools. Evening the senior children come to the centre for
playing. Some of weaker students get tutoring in the evening on all
the School working days.
On every
Sundays the students are in the centre from 11.00.A.M. to 02.00.P.M. Lunch is
been provided. Study time, games and spiritual nurture activities are the
main focus on all Sundays. The children spend more times on learning Bible truth
through songs, skits and memorizing Bible verses.
With the help of Miss. Jenifer the volunteer teacher, and project teachers Merling , Anbu and Edward the
Sunday class is conducted. Every Sunday evening some senior boys attend Bible
study conducted by Edward and Anbu.
